RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel," contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually. Maps101 now offers a Current Events RSS feed which contains the most recent entries from our Geography in the News, Map of the Week and Maps in the News articles. Access to the feed is different for different browsers, but you should see one of the icons above in your URL address bar or in the toolbar section of your browser. You can also access the feed by clicking the link below. Maps101 Current EventsNote to Firefox Users: To access the RSS feed, please click on the orange icon in your address bar. |
