MAPS101 HIRES NEW SALES REPRESENTATIVE, JORDAN BROWER

Santa Barbara, CA — [July 23, 2008] — Maps101, the leading interactive online geography and social studies resource, has announced the hiring of a new Sales Representative, Jordan Brower.

Brower, whose territories are the southeastern coast and southwest, brings experience from both educational and sales environments to Maps101. For the past two years, he worked in outside sales in the Retail Advertising Department of the Santa Barbara News-Press, and from 2004-2006 he worked with high school and college students as a Vocational Assistant in Special Education for Santa Barbara County.

"I believe that my previous experience places me in a key position to increase Maps101's usage in the K-12 market," says Brower. "I am especially looking forward to giving demonstrations to new schools as a way to introduce them to Maps101, and showing them just how expansive and user-friendly a resource it is, for both teachers and students."

Brower has a B.A. in Anthropology and a minor in Art History from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He enjoys music, art, basketball, and spending time with friends.
