MAPS101 HIRES TWO SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Santa Barbara, CA — [July 1, 2008] — Maps101, the leading interactive online geography and social studies resource, has announced the hiring of two Sales Representatives, Mary Minore and Shevon Hoover.

Mary Minore brings her extensive technology experience to Maps101. For more than 14 years she has provided software and online resources to businesses within the legal, real estate and credit reporting communities.

"Having helped many companies increase their productivity and improve the quality of their products and services through the use of technology," says Minore, "I believe schools are primed and ready to do the same. Maps101 not only provides up-to-the-minute information to students and educators alike, it also makes teaching and learning more interesting and enjoyable. Knowing that I will be playing a role in modern age education makes this new position very meaningful to me."

Minore has a B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University. She enjoys golf, traveling, film and music.

Shevon Hoover who worked for Maps.com for five years has returned after an eight-month hiatus. She began her career there as an account manager with Maps101, and more recently she managed Maps.com's Custom Mapping Division's educational publishing accounts.

"While working with Maps101 and in educational publishing," says Hoover, "I have become very familiar with the needs of the educational market while at the same time developing good rapport with many teachers. I look forward to maintaining these relationships, as well as introducing Maps101 and the many benefits of having a subscription to new schools nationwide."

Hoover has a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of Texas, Arlington. She enjoys sports, spending time with family, traveling, reading and music.
