    Halloween
On Oct 31 of every year — Chances are you will be dressing up in a costume to celebrate Halloween but what exactly are we celebrating? And why is everyone dressed up? Halloween, originally it was called "All Hallow's Eve" and it was first celebrated in Ireland and Great Britain. One belief is that it’s the night that the spirits of the dead came out to search for new bodies; naturally people did not want to be the host of a spirit so they dressed up in all types of scary manners to scare away these spirits. The tradition was brought to the Americas by Irish Immigrants in the 19th century.
