Maps101 in Your Classroom
Mariellen Hagens of Walter Panas High School in Cortlandt Manor, New York, makes timely use of Maps101 in her AP Human Geography Class: "I constantly use Maps101; the students love the current events. I have used your maps to highlight pumpkin production in Canada for Halloween, and for the topics of natural resources (especially loved the bottled water and the national forests debate articles), industry, and culture. I use them on a Smartboard so we can further delineate geographic factors related to the topic." How have you used Maps101 in your classroom? Tell us, and we'll give you a FREE world wall map for entering. The most creative entry will be featured in the August newsletter.
