II. About Maps101

The Education division of Maps.com produces cross-curricular, subscription-based content for K-12 schools to include Maps101, and Geography in the News™.

Our web-based databases easily facilitate integration of the Internet into current instructional practice and serve thousands of schools and libraries across the United States. Headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA, Maps.com was the pioneer in delivering subscription-based content to the education markets.
Advisory Panel
Our databases have been successfully integrated into use because of our advocates and users. The high-quality instructional material is developed with our audience in mind, thanks to the feedback of students, teachers, librarians, media specialists and our advisory panel members.
